Biography

Rebecca Vats Jonsson is a classical guitarist from Sweden. She is currently studying in the soloist program at the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus, under Professor Frederik Munk Larsen.

Throughout her career as a guitarist, she has had the opportunity to perform in many different contexts, both as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe and America and has also been awarded first prize in competitions in both Sweden and Germany.

For the past seven years, she has participated in various projects working with music and health at different hospitals and venues in Denmark. In 2022, she was one of the first musicians employed to work as a health musician at Aarhus University Hospital. Today, she performs weekly intimate concerts, primarily in intensive care units at all hospitals in Central Denmark Region—a passion she is deeply dedicated to.
